Enhance What’s Already Beautiful, Without Looking “Done”
At Appearance Coach Papamoa, we take a conservative, client-first approach to dermal fillers. Whether you’re looking to restore lost volume, soften shadows, or subtly enhance facial features, our skilled cosmetic nurses use advanced techniques and premium filler products to deliver results that look like you, just more refreshed.
What Are Dermal Fillers?
Dermal fillers are smooth, gel-like substances — typically made from hyaluronic acid — that are injected beneath the skin to restore volume, improve contour, and reduce the appearance of lines or hollowness.
As we age, we naturally lose fat, collagen, and hydration in the face. Dermal fillers help to gently replace what’s been lost and rejuvenate the skin, without changing your expression or identity.

How long do fillers last?
Depending on the area treated and the product used, dermal fillers can last 6 to 18 months. Regular maintenance treatments may be recommended for best long-term results.
Will I look fake or overdone?
Not at Appearance Coach. We specialise in natural, undetectable results. Our goal is to restore balance and harmony — not to change the way you look.
Is it painful?
Most clients find it very tolerable. We use premium fillers that include a local anaesthetic, and we apply numbing cream when needed for comfort.
Can dermal fillers be reversed?
Yes. Hyaluronic acid-based fillers can be dissolved using a special enzyme (hyaluronidase) if required.
How do I know what area I need treated?
Your cosmetic nurse will guide you through a full assessment and recommend the best approach based on your concerns, facial proportions, and desired outcome.
