What is HayTox?
HayTox is our signature treatment for hayfever and chronic rhinitis using a gentle, needle-free application of botulinum toxin inside the nose. This targeted approach reduces the inflammation and nerve response that cause common allergy symptoms like:

How Does It Work?
We apply a small dose of diluted botulinum toxin using a mucosal atomisation device (MAD) that gently mists the inner nasal lining. This reduces nerve signals that trigger allergic inflammation.
There’s no downtime, no pain.
We recommend avoiding nasal sprays for 24–48 hours post-treatment and continuing antihistamines for 7 days following treatment, if used regularly.

How long does it last?

Is it safe?
Yes – the product is not injected, but gently applied to the nasal lining. It’s commonly used in ENT procedures and has an excellent safety profile. (Note: This is an off label use of Botulinum Toxin)
What if it doesn't work for me?
As with any treatment, results can vary. That’s why we document your baseline symptoms to track improvement.
How quickly will I notice results?
Most people begin to notice symptom relief within 3–7 days, with maximum effect around the 2-week mark.
Is HayTox painful?
No. The treatment is completely needle-free and uses a soft atomiser that delivers a gentle mist into the nostrils. Some people report a brief salty taste in the throat or minor dripping, but it’s not uncomfortable.
How long does the treatment take?
The procedure itself takes under 10 minutes, making it an easy option to fit into a lunch break or busy day but we book your appointment for 30 minutes so we can do a thorough consultation with you.
How often will I need the treatment?
Results typically last around 8–10 weeks. Some people return seasonally (e.g. in spring) while others benefit from more regular treatments if they have chronic rhinitis.
Can I still take my allergy medications?
Yes. We recommend continuing your antihistamines for the first week after treatment. Avoid using nasal steroid sprays for 7 days after treatment to allow the product to settle.
Are there any side effects?
Side effects are rare but may include:

Is it safe for long-term use?
Yes. Botulinum toxin has a strong safety record and is widely used in ENT (ear, nose, throat) and hospital settings. This application is low-dose and delivered topically, not injected.
Who is not suitable for HayTox?
We don’t recommend this treatment for:
