Leisa founded Appearance Coach with one clear vision: to create a clinic where every client feels truly seen, heard, and supported. With nearly 30 years of experience as a registered nurse and 15 years as a cosmetic nurse, Leisa brings both clinical expertise and genuine heart to her work.

Her passion lies in subtle, natural results, focusing on prevention and restoring confidence, not changing who you are. For Leisa, aesthetics isn’t about chasing trends or perfection. It’s about helping women reconnect with their self-worth, feel confident in their skin, and show up fully in their lives.

She believes that when you feel good about how you look, you carry yourself differently. You take up space. You say yes to things you once hesitated on. And that shift even if it starts with something as simple as treating your skin, can be powerful.

Outside of the clinic, Leisa finds balance through movement, she loves staying fit with hiking ( if she’s not at work you’ll find her up Papamoa Hills or at the gym  and is always the first to put her hand up to try something new. That same sense of curiosity and courage filters into everything she does, from building a business grounded in care, to helping clients feel strong, confidentl, and ready for what’s next.

Leisa is proud to lead a team that shares this same philosophy: care deeply, treat honestly, and always put the client first.

Kim has been a registered nurse since 2011 and discovered her passion for cosmetic medicine in 2020. Since then, she’s been helping clients feel more confident in their own skin through a thoughtful, personalised approach to every treatment.

Warm, skilled, and quietly confident, Kim blends clinical expertise with a deep understanding of what makes someone feel truly cared for. Whether you’re after subtle tweaks or more transformative change, she’s known for her gentle touch, honest advice, and meticulous attention to detail, all qualities that align beautifully with the Appearance Coach philosophy.

For Kim, this work is about more than just results, it’s about the way someone carries themselves when they feel comfortable in their skin. As she puts it:

Outside the clinic, Kim is mum to Harry and Daisy and wife to Richard, her world outside of skin that keeps her just as busy and fulfilled.

You’ll find Kim at Appearance Coach on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Fridays (with late appointments available on Mondays), and once a month at SkinBespoke in Matamata.

With over 10 years of experience as a registered nurse, Kirsty Smith’s journey is one of passion and precision. Before immersing herself in the transformative world of cosmetic medicine, she honed her skills in plastics and cosmetic theatres, fuelling her passion of ensuring clients look and feel their best.

With over a decade of experience as a registered nurse, Kirsty brings precision, warmth, and a calm confidence to her work in cosmetic medicine. Before stepping into aesthetics, she spent years in plastic and cosmetic surgery theatres, a background that sharpened her eye for detail and deepened her understanding of natural, beautiful outcomes.

Kirsty’s approach is all about subtle, thoughtful enhancements. She believes cosmetic medicine isn’t about changing how you look, it’s about helping you feel like the most vibrant version of yourself. Her goal is for every client to walk out feeling more confident, refreshed, and empowered than when they walked in.

She’s known for her gentle touch and strong client relationships — built on trust, honesty, and genuine care. Whether she’s smoothing lines or supporting someone through their first cosmetic treatment, Kirsty ensures each experience is personalised and pressure-free.

Kirsty has a particular love for anti-wrinkle treatments, appreciating their ability to create timeless, refined results with minimal downtime.

Outside the clinic, Kirsty recharges in nature, hiking, camping, or enjoying quiet beach walks with her two Golden Retrievers. She treasures time with her husband and three children, and brings that same grounded, nurturing energy to her client care.

Lana is the warm, familiar face that greets you when you walk through our doors, and the calm, capable presence that keeps everything running smoothly behind the scenes. She’s the kind of person who makes you feel instantly at ease, remembers your name (and probably your coffee order), and genuinely cares about your experience with us.

Whether she’s coordinating appointments, supporting the team, or sharing a laugh with clients in the lounge, Lana brings heart, humour, and a whole lot of kindness to every part of the clinic.

She’s the glue that holds our days together and if we’re honest, a big reason why many of you say your visits feel more like catching up with a friend than a clinic appointment.

We’d truly be lost without her.
