Profhilo® Structura

About Profhilo® Structura

In the ever-evolving world of aesthetic treatments, it can be challenging to keep up with the latest advancements and choose the best treatment for your skin. Two popular options are Profhilo and Profhilo Structura, both designed to improve skin quality but with distinct differences in their application and benefits. In this blog, we’ll break down the differences between these two treatments, including the reasons for choosing each, who they are suitable for, the results they offer, and the procedure involved.

How does Profhilo Structura® work?

Profhilo® Structura is the first product on the market that exclusively targets superficial fat cells. The unique properties of Profhilo® Structura work to stimulate dormant fat cells, encouraging them to “wake up” and resume producing vital skin signals. Essentially, these fat cells begin to behave as they did in their younger years, resulting in visibly lifted skin, enhanced jawline contour, and reduced nasolabial heaviness.

What is the difference between Profhilo and Profhilo Structura?

Profhilo Structura builds on the success of Classic Profhilo but adds a new dimension to its skin-remodeling capabilities. The doctor injects it deeper under the skin, close to the fat pads in your face. There, it stimulates the fat cells, which replenish themselves and produce more collagen and elastin.

Classic Profhilo mainly boosts hydration and elasticity. In contrast, Profhilo Structura uses denser hyaluronic acid, which gives a mild lifting effect and also rejuvenates the skin.

What are the benefits?

  • More Intense Skin Remodeling: Ideal for individuals with deeper lines and wrinkles or those needing more structural enhancement.
  • Lifting and Tightening Effect: It hydrates the skin and provides a slight lifting effect. It is ideal for sagging skin or areas that need more contour.
  • Increased Longevity: It has a more potent formula. This means patients can enjoy longer-lasting results between treatments.

How much does Profhilo Structura cost?

Each Profhilo Structura treatment is $900 and you will require 2 treatments initially 4 weeks apart, (total $1800)

We recommend maintenance treatments every 6-9 months of a single treatment which is $900

What is the downtime after Profhilo?

After a treatment, there is usually no downtime involved, however, you may experience some redness and small bumps and the injection site.  We inject  superfically  using a cannula at 1 to 2  specific points on the face.  You will generally see a slight swelling where the product is that will usually disappear within 24 hours for most people.   Occasionally there may be some bruising but this will subside after a few days. It’s recommended that you avoid consuming alcohol, strenuous exercise or rubbing/massaging the treated area for 24 hours after. Also avoid anywhere that your skin may come into contact with irritants such as pools, hot tubs and saunas.
